The 21st day of joy and happiness was bound to end yesterday, May 18. My loving children, Rein and Joseff Kitchen, will leave again the Philippines for UK in the next few hours. So we really have to make the best out of the last three hours.
Rein's final request was to have an all-Filipino meal for her lunch ( very late lunch actually because we have to reduce all their baggages from 70 to 54kgs ) . It was almost 30 minutes passed the hour
of three when we get to the mall.
To satisfy Rein's cravings for Pinoy foods, we went straight to Seafood Island at the SM Southmall in Las Pinas and ordered the amazing Tali Beach coupled with crab and corn soup and an array of Filipino veggies with green mangoes, salted eggs and shrimp paste.

It has grilled chicken, squid, pork barbecue, shrimps, crabs, clams, ( mussels, unfortunately, were not available ) fish, grilled eggplant and tomatoes, seaweeds with all Pinoy dips |

The sweet watermelon and the green mangoes with shrimp paste made Tali beach more colorful and appetizing |
|
Is this what they call Dagupan Salad? Urdaneta Salad pa....Boiled camote tops, eggplants, ladies' fingers (okra) diced tomatoes, white onions and diced green mangoes, salted eggs with bagoong isda and bagoong alamang. |
|
Nonoy's favorites... inihaw na talong ( grilled eggplant ) dipped in vinegar with shrimp paste |
|
Nonoy was so excited to eat as well that he didn't notice he was standing for quite sometime just to get his food |

Everyone's happy now. Am I right, Joseff? |
It was meant to be a boodle fight but I don't think my SIL can have a good one with an all-Filipino contenders. Among us all, Rein enjoyed the food the most. We have to wait for about fifteen to twenty minutes more before she finally capped her meal with a very refreshing green mango juice and leave the Seafood Island. Good enough, all the parties were over. Otherwise, some more repairs please!
Pagbigyan na lang natin. Huling hirit na naman daw ito eh... hahaha
