The venue was set up in pink and white , with balloons and hanging party favors all over the place. The Hello Kitty backdrop set the mood for an exciting children's party and the Hello Kitty cake simply looked so yummy for the kids to rumble There were two long party tables, good enough to accommodate around 50 to sixty persons. The "Dancing Queen" music filled the air and the guests started to come in , though many came late, due to the Saturday heavy traffic. Some guests arrived in their Baby Bubut costumes while others contented themselves with some trinkets and big ribbon headbands.

We all felt children once more as Marilou Parocha Quizon, more fondly called Mary, celebrated her 60th birthday at JOLLIBEE corner E. Rodriguez and Araneta Avenue in Quezon City. Dressed in a white puffed sleeved blouse matched with balloon polka dotted suspended mini skirt and knee-high flat boots, Mary wowed her guests as she took the dance floor and gracefully swayed with all her heart to the tune of Raiza Mae Dizon's Chacha ( with matching NGANGA ). With the day lights off and disco lights on, her ever faithful and loyal friends who are soon-to-be SENIORas too , Leony, Chato and Edhna, joined her in the dance floor to the delight of everyone. Of course, the guest of honor, none other than JOLLIBEE mascot himself, gave a very special dance number together with the evening's master of ceremony. Mr. Eldie Arubang, a rather late-blooming magician and also a Mapan, tried to entertain his audience with his simple tricks and eventually succeeded. It was indeed a very entertaining and fun-filled night when the SENIORas and soon to be SENIORas rocked the place with boisterous laughter and poses as the cameras, ipads and iphones never stopped clicking.

More than anything else, the event became truly a night of generosity and thanksgiving for our new SENIORa. Every guest went home with a personalized "THANK YOU" gift from Mary aside from the take home food, cake and candies. Daisy Ng's distribution of her early Christmas gift added fun and excitement to the event.
Mary's 60th birthday celebration was indeed very simple and yet so memorable. According to Mary, she decided to push through with her JOLLIBEE party to show how God has blessed her from her wanting childhood to a very blessed and fulfilled SENIORa.
Thank you, Mary for making us a child once more. We enjoyed your "Children's Party".
WELCOME to the SENIORa CLUB!
